Each year, we set aside one special Sunday as our Day for the Lord—a day to give generously, prayerfully, sacrificially, and joyfully to the ongoing work of the Church. This year, we are inspired by the call of Isaiah 54:2—a call to expand, stretch ourselves, and not to quit!. As God calls His people to enlarge the tent, we are reminded that this is not just about physical space, but preparing our hearts, our homes, and our Church for the work He is unfolding. The Lord has blessed our church, and today is a Day to give back to the Lord! Asking God to use First Baptist Church Gordonsville for His glory until His return. The term “faithful preparation” is so much more than just financials. It is the willingness to be uncomfortable, the willingness to give time, and the willingness to give ourselves for the greater good of the Gospel going further!
